Sharon Carson, vice president, is a Retirement Strategist on J.P. Morgan Funds Individual Retirement team. Sharon is responsible for developing and delivering personal retirement-related insights to financial advisors. She has a successful track record of synthesizing complex topics including Social Security, healthcare, and retirement income investment strategies. Sharon’s unique perspective enables financial advisors to have more effective conversations with their clients who are transitioning to and living in retirement.
She has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on retirement during the past 10 years in various roles spanning strategic planning, innovation, and program management.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2012, Sharon developed retirement income and retiree healthcare expense planning insights for financial advisors and their clients at Merrill Lynch. Sharon received a B.A. from Bowling Green State University an M.B.A. from Columbia University. She received the Retirement Management Analyst® (RMA®) designation in its inaugural year, she has the Certified Retirement Plan Counselor® designation (CRPC®), and maintains the FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
